When your project requires resources to be delivered from any location worldwide, within defined time scales with no margin for error, you need Evolution Time Critical.
As an independently-recognised leader in time critical logistics, our global teams are trusted by many of the world’s most successful companies. For large-scale, time critical operations, they rely on our Critical Projects expertise to place their resources where they need them, when they need them.
From initial analysis to precision execution, our award- winning approach is rigorously encoded into everything we do: time critical and project cargo expertise intertwined to create a new type of world-class service for the most demanding leaders of time critical projects.
Evolution’s experience in delivering solutions to the automotive industry, where production line stoppages can result in severe financial penalties, is now being applied to a more diverse range of industries where on time delivery is critical.
When timing is critical, the expertise required to deliver the most challenging project resources is simply the starting point. Success comes from the layers of analysis, planning, monitoring and experience that transform the shipment of large, heavy or fragile consignments into a strategic operation that you can trust to deliver within exceptionally demanding timescales.
Like you, we believe that effective programme management, from analysis and planning through to monitoring and control, is the only way to ensure a robust programme. That’s why we have six sigma engrained in the way we work, supervised by our qualified in-house programme leadership.
Our strict disciplines of discovery, analysis, planning, examination and execution are rigorously applied to every project.
Our teams operate around the clock across all time zones to deliver transparent reporting day and night. Any unlikely deviation from the programme is identified and contingency plans activated.
An Evolution client needed to move complex tooling systems from a plant in Mexico to a new facility in North Africa without interrupting supply to their customers in the UK, France and Germany. Meticulous planning allowed us to fill the supply chain, move the tooling, work with second tier suppliers to the restart production, then refill the supply chain. The operation was 100 percent successful and, thanks to our detailed analysis of the exact timing requirements for each stage of the operation, was also comfortably within budget.
A European premium car maker needed to meet its production deadlines even after last-minute design changes had delayed the production of heavy press tooling that was being created on the other side of the world. This would traditionally have simply compressed the final phase of prototype validation, but as this was a new-generation programme going straight from screen to production specification, there was no intermediate stage to compress. The only solution was to take time out of the tooling transit by creating a tightly-timed sequence of consignments that required some of the world’s largest aircraft in a multi-million pound operation. The culmination of weeks of meticulous planning saw 300 tonnes of tooling flown on three freighter aircraft. The arrival and unloading of one of the Antonov 124 freighter aircraft filmed by Evolution ground handling personnel can be seen here:
